Our website selection of products is just a small sample of what you can see when you visit!!
We specialize in providing locally grown plants and a wide variety of pond fish. Three 20 foot by 100 foot coldframes provide the perfect place to make sure spring plants are looking great much earlier than if they were outdoors. The first waterlily blooms are usually early to mid April.
Our bog plants are available in 4″ small pots for transplanting or pond edges, 8″ pots for immediate placement into your pond and a few specimen plants in larger pots. Our waterlilies are generally planted in the Fall of the previous year for a mature, ready-to-bloom or blooming plant in the year of purchase. Waterlilies are mostly planted in 8″ pots with a couple varieties in 16″ pots. Lots of our bog plants are also planted in the fall for spring and summer sales. This ensures a fuller pot and a faster display of blooms in your pond. Lotus are grown in 11″ wide or 16″ wide pots and should all bloom the first summer. Our staff will be happy to help, if needed, or you can select and gather your own plants at your leisure.
Fish are available in multiple sizes and a variety of species. Goldfish, Shubunkin Goldfish, Premium Koi, Premium Butterfly Koi, a variety of Fantail Goldfish and, when available, Golden Orfe. Our fish facility is not climate controlled, so whatever time of year you shop for fish they are acclimated to outdoor pond temperatures. We also encourage folks to individually select the exact fish you would like for your pond. Yes, we can catch “THAT FISH” for you.
Our restored barn is home to lots of extra items for outdoor yard decorations and we have one of the largest selections of pottery in the state. Not just small planters but BIG ones too. We have lots of different stone features for fountains and large pottery that we can convert into fountains for you. If you’re looking for a unique fountain for your landscape, you need to visit. Generally, you can leave the same day with your purchase. It may take a little time for the pottery conversion, but we can get it done in an hour or so. Also, we have a selection of concrete fountains and “stand-alone” pottery fountains where you just add water and plug it in. You really DO need to visit.
