Submersible pump intake filter attaches to the inlet of any pump with a threaded connection. Filter attaches with tubing clamped to the pump intake and held in place using stainless steel hose clamps (sold seperately). Hose connection supplied with pump is for 1″, 1-1/4″, and 1-1/2″ tubing sizes. Can be attached directly to a pump using threaded nipples. Filter is made with a 1-1/2″ FPT (female pipe thread) connection.Filter has coarse outside filter media (by Matala) and finer inside media for more efficient particle removal.
